Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to browse the Simpla site, read it and reach us, including people with disabilities. The accessibility work on this site follows WCAG 2.1 at level AA, which the Israeli standard IS 5568 is based on.
The accessibility menu
The top bar of the site has an accessibility button. On phones it is also in the menu. Your settings are saved in your browser for your next visit:
- Text size, in four steps up to 150%.
- High contrast: stronger text and clearer lines.
- Readable font: a plain font instead of the display fonts.
- Highlight links: an underline and an outline on every link and button.
- Stop motion and video: no animations and no video that plays by itself.
- Dark or light display.
What else we made accessible
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clear focus marker and a "Skip to content" link at the top of the page.
- Text alternatives for images and client logos. Purely decorative images are marked as such.
- Color contrast at level AA, in both the dark and the light display.
- Ordered headings, labelled regions and clearly named buttons, for screen readers.
- The text of the film at the top of the page is fully available to screen readers, without scrolling.
- The site respects the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
- The TV near the end of the page has a pause button on its remote.
- The site works on phones, tablets and desktops, and with browser zoom.
Known limitations
- Some films in the gallery have no captions, and some have English captions only.
- The film at the top of the page is a silent animation. All of its text also appears on the page itself.
We keep improving. If something doesn't work for you, we want to know.
